Background of Doom Slayer
Doom Slayer is the main protagonist in the video game Doom Eternal. With the demons of Hell invading Earth, Doom Slayer pursues these hellish creatures after they killed his family. In battle, Doom Slayer is able to absorb the souls of the demons he's killed, allowing his strength and power to increase exponentially. Doom Slayer wields the legendary Crucible, a red greatsword flared at the top of the blade. The Crucible is capable of instantly killing demons, and is the only weapon capable of killing a Titan.
